A Peer Recovery Coach is an individual who uses their personal experiences of recovery to facilitate and build resilience in individuals with gambling addiction. It is a partnership between the individual with a gambling disorder, and their trusted mentor, guide and advocate in the path to recovery.

Recovery Coaching focuses on achieving goals that are important to the individual,  honoring values and making principle-based decisions, creating a clear plan of action, and using current strengths to reach future goals. Recovery Coaches serve as an accountability partner to help the individual sustain his or her recovery.
